"We took a short break over the Feb
half term with one student daughter and three
teenagers. the three bedroom lodge was cosy when we
arrived and was well supplied with videos for
teenagers, wine glasses, good cooking equipment and
comfortable sofas. The layout was good and thoughtful
and all six of us were well ensconced with cold
weather outside.
We were able to contact the
owners easily and any breakables were replaced as we
arrived. The whole sight waswell spread out while being
compact, close to the main road to Dunoon but we weren't
aware of the world around us. We were able to take country
walks out of the back gate of the site without touching the
road. The walk over Puck's Glen and the Botanics gardens
was perfect. Go prepared with waterproofs though! We had
good and wet weather! The drive over was stunning and the
ferry ride back was also a treat.
The whole weekend was a break
from it all and we left destressed and relaxed, ready for
the real world again" - Tripadvisor comment
